So…so…that can destroy me? *The voice rasped incredulously, and the shadow of a feline stared down in disbelief at a piece of paper that rested on a flat stone. It was so ordinary and plain looking, but had it been possible to see speaker’s eyes, there would’ve been unmistakable fear in them. The speaker sat in a cave, that was lit by a small fire. He and his Clan prided himself on their ability; they could tame fire to some extent. But now the fire provided no warmth, as the cold chill of fear took over him. Seated across from him, on the other side of the stone, another cat, or more appropriately, cat’s shadow nodded.*
Yes…well, as long as the information is written on the original version. The copy of it in front of us is just trash. It doesn’t have the seal. Horatio’s seal. *The second voice replied, sounding calmer than the first. The news of the Scroll of Imperium meant little to him. There’s virtually no chance of it being able to harm him. But he knew very will the cat accompanying him had reason to be afraid.*
There’s a reason I tell you this now, my son… *The second cat began, but was interrupted by a furious hiss. The first cat slammed his paw on the ground and snarled,*
Not my son. My lord! My lord!
Alright, there’s a reason I tell you this now, my lord… *The second cat replied, emphasizing the “my lord.” He knew better than to go against his son’s will.* Your enemy has discovered the Scroll of Imperium. But she has to be in a position where she has complete dominance over you…with your life in her paws. Fear not, Bloodfang. I’ll help you. Kill her, and take the scroll. Rip it to shreds and burn it. Burn the ashes. Then take the ashes of the ashes and throw them to sea.
Right, I kill her. Pity I didn’t think of that before. *Bloodfang’s voice replied snidely.* That’s easier said than done. I could probably beat her myself, but her members help her, especially that IC Moonstar. He’s devoted to her, though I’ll never understand why. He should be on my side, she ruined his life too. *Having love for a creature you hate…what a foolish paradox. Bloodfang though to himself. Shaking his head, he answered his father.* Fine. I’ll get her if you’re going to help. Now leave me! *The second cat nodded, and crept off in silence. As soon as he left, a small black and gray tabby cat scuttled nervously up to the remaining cat. Surprisingly, Bloodfang smiled and wrapped his ginger, black-striped tail around his sister’s shoulders.* Darkpaw, my dear sister. Father and I are going to get her for you. *He smiled down at his sister again, but this time there was a murderous gleam in his eyes.* I’m going to kill her, for you and for mother.
